I received a Navy Achievement Medal by being proficient in my work at Navy Medical Center Portsmouth. In my time there I was training other staff in proper techniques in care, giving classes in STD'S, TCCC, and other valued medical classes. I began to shadow in the ER. I took a particular interest and spent time there in the triage portion, and moved up to providing care with the assistance and guidance of the medical provider.
During my time at Portsmouth hospital, I was certified in
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

During my time with the 3rd Marines, I became certified in
field blood transfusions (Valkyrie)
and sick call screeners course (this course teaches us how to think like a provider and how to make SOAP notes to ensure proper care and fluent care can be provided)

I am currently going to Texas A&M University Kingsville to continue my education. I am going into my desired field of medicine in hopes to become a doctor for trauma medicine.
