While employed with Learning Express Toys, I was responsible for spearheading many events aimed at child and parent engagement. These events involved weeks (sometimes months) of planning, meticulous coordinating with customers for ideal times to host the events, and negotiating with vendors over cost of materials. Overall, these events were always a hit with the children, parents, and staff involved.
While employed with Snaggle Foot, one of my main duties was to manage our physical inventory of client keys that allowed our pet care specialists access to our clients homes to care for their pets. As a small, but rapidly growing business, this task slowly started to become more daunting as we grew. After some trial and error, I was able to create a process that allowed for the location of these keys to be easily tracked between each user from day-to-day. Over time, we were able to develop that system and assess trends to better predict the flow of keys between hands. While this process was still a work in progress, it very much took a lot of stress out of what was once a very stressful task,
While employed with the Ann Arbor T-shirt Company, I made many important changes to the FBA department. Of them all, I am most proud of developing an entirely new layout for the department that allowed for easy flow of inventory from start to finish with fewer interruptions and clearer organization. Part of this organization included 5S implementation and Kanban, both of which are things I have become very passionate about and use every opportunity to incorporate them into my day-to-day.
In the short time that I have been employed with ABclonal Technology, I became so proficient in my duties that I was tasked with creating and implementing SOP's on every aspect of my day-to-day duties. As of today, I have created over a dozen SOP's and have been entrusted editing and critiquing SOP's for senior members of staff.
