OFFICE MANAGER

- Implementing a plan to increase practice from 1 doctor to 2, each having 2 production chairs daily and 2 Hygiene chairs to 4 within an 8-year period
- Maintaining and Increasing production at 15% and collections at 17% YOY while the doctor fulfilled the duties of the UDA president and other UDA callings
- Help build and influence the practices annual financial plan and present and Implement to the staff
- Create training of the departments within the dental practice, emphasizing the financial and systems annual plan and protocol
- Documenting, Implementing and delivering the current vs Year end financial status and current goals to the dental team
- Act as a liaison between the doctors and employees of the practice
- Complete administrative function including ledger accuracy, dental insurance payments and bank deposits
- Oversee collections and accounts receivables, making sure they are inline with the financial plan of the practice
- Run and analyze management reports including day sheets, daily deposits, biweekly collection reports for individual providers and practice collection report
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly practice reports
- Oversee the coordination with dental insurance companies to ensure accuracy with Doctor accreditation and payment of claims, including correspondence and appealing claims
- Manage employee relations and make sure staff has the necessary resources, support and training opportunities provided to them
- Train and delegate office staff to help ensure systems and protocols, aligning with our annual plan, are in place to provide quality care to our patients
- Determine staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met and to handle any confusion that may arise to keep order in the practice
- Created and implemented a financial and patient-centric plan to keep operational during the Covid pandemic
- Manage patient scheduling, direct patient traffic flow and handle any situation that may stop or slow the flow
- Organize, present and educate patients of their treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the office and to ensure a smoothly running, high morale office where the doctors are free to sell and deliver dentistry during production hours
- Use and understand the Dentrix software in order to train and aid employees with navigation and handle any software difficulty
- Organize staff training, celebrations and patient monthly spotlight and yearly appreciation party including giveaways.
