Over the course of the past 22 years, working at St. James Catholic School has provided me with numerous valuable educational opportunities that have significantly contributed to my growth as an educator. Through these experiences, I have acquired a diverse set of skills including problem-solving, strategic planning, team collaboration, adaptability, project management, customer service, effective communication, organizational proficiency, and conflict resolution. As a dedicated classroom teacher, I honed my abilities to effectively cater to the individual needs of students and collaborate with parents to ensure their child's academic progress. Managing the school library and coordinating textbooks further enhanced my organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. I took great pleasure in organizing school events like book fairs and leading initiatives such as the Accelerated Reader Millionaires Club. Additionally, collaborating with textbook publishers and assisting teachers in navigating new curriculum strengthened my expertise in curriculum implementation. My current role involves working closely with textbook companies, underscoring my understanding of the importance of up-to-date curriculum materials in educational settings. I possess strong communication skills cultivated through interactions with various stakeholders including students, parents, colleagues, publishers, and vendors. Proficiency in utilizing educational platforms such as the Destiny Follett System, Accelerated Reader Program, and Google Platform further enriches my qualifications. I believe that my diverse skill set and experience make me a strong candidate for the Regional Sales Director of South Texas.
