Throughout my life, I have always excelled in and enjoyed cleaning. During my time working a cleaning job at the hospital, I discovered my true passion: caring for others. Now, I have the opportunity to continue doing what I love - cleaning - while also lending a helping hand to those in need. The satisfaction of keeping my patients clean and dry, as well as providing them with companionship they may otherwise lack, brings me immense joy. I am a self-motivated individual eager to expand my knowledge and skills in patient care while ensuring my own safety. Additionally, I am intrigued by the healthcare industry and open to exploring various fields through continuing education.

  • Shortly after starting at Mission through Budd Group as a subcontractor I was asked to join the HCA team
  • With all the amazing benefits and opportunities to grow I didn't have to think long about this choice
  • Even though I did love my job with Budd I decided to take the leap to Mission as the EVS Lead over the Heart Tower
  • Still cleaning as my top focus but now I work on all the Heart Tower floors and cover any employee that isn't on campus any given day

  • I began my journey with Budd at Asheville Boarding School where I was a working supervisor
  • I not only was a regular cleaner but I also helped making sure all deadlines were met, spaces were cleaned correctly, I assisted with ordering supplies as well as keeping a count on all of our inventory
  • When we lost the account I transferred to Mission Hospital where I am currently still working as a subcontractor for Budd

  • I was responsible for packing up every item in the home, room, business or what location we were at
  • After all personal items were removed I cleaned any affect areas with special chemicals or machines in order to make the area look as it did before any incident
  • After the cleaning was completed; I moved all the personal items back to their original location before the clients saw the space
  • When the clients did come back into their space our goal was to make it seem as if 'noting ever happened' which was our slogan as well

  • This is where I learned how to be a professional residential cleaner and found my passion for cleaning
  • We only cleaned private residents
  • I learned how to operate a backpack vacuum, how to properly clean a room (left to right, top to bottom) and how to effectively mop
  • I ultimately left this job because we were made to drive out own vehicle to every job site, with no compensation for wear and tear or gas, we also did not get paid while driving from location to location and I didn't feel that was acceptable, as some jobs were45 minutes apart
