Having worked in higher education for almost 30 years, I am a highly experienced administrator who excels at problem-solving and multitasking. I bring a wide breadth of experience and knowledge from disparate departments within the higher education environment. From graphic design to QuickBooks, from developing emerging leaders to office/facility management, my various roles in higher education institutions have allowed me to expand my skill set beyond the norm.
In addition to the typical Area Coordinator responsibilities of managing residence halls (students, RA's, programming, physical space), I serve as the primary housing software (eRez) administrator: housing assignments, lottery process for returning students, developing and updating forms and communication templates, etc. I have also created a student leader budget-tracking and finance-tracking system.
I found system inefficiencies and developed solutions to streamline operations, managed several departmental budgets, and managed all aspects of the College's merchandise I've also created and implemented a world-class leadership development program for the College's student leaders.
I coordinated the Community Education program for the hospital, created and managed the direct mail solicitation and planned-giving program budgets, production schedules, materials, and statistical evaluation procedures, and planned hospital leadership events.
I served as administrator for all aspects of the Student Services department, managed a staff of 9 employees, developed several financial aid and collection processes now used across the institution, and planned major events for the College.
I made admissions decisions for all programs, managed the departmental budget, designed and produced all printed media for Enrollment Services, planned and executed the annual visit weekend with over 300 attendees, and supervised a student staff of 20.
