Performs a variety of functions as refers to an appropriate staff members. Use judgement to answer recurring questions and resolve clerical and administrative problems. Reviews, validates, prepares and/ or ensures the completion of actions pertaining to the in-processing, out-processing, retirement, or separation of soldiers. Uses systems to accomplish tasks such as Installation Support Module (ISM), Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATTRS), Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System requirements (RAPIDS, Electronic Military Personnel Office (eMILPO). For in/out processing this includes appointment requirements, adjustment of schedule changes, and approval of completion for permanent party personnel. Assist lower graded employees by resolving complex or unprecedented problems, verifying applicable directives are followed, and ensuring tasks are correctly completed. Applies in-depth knowledge of various DOD and DA regulations, directives, precedents, and procedures and assists lower graded employees as required.
