Manage care for 5-6 patients from admission to discharge on med/surg, cardiac, surgical, ortho, neuro floors.

Converted from travel contract to internal contract with hospital. Held role of charge nurse. In March 2020 our floor was converted to 100% covid patients.

• Administered medications via oral, IV and intramuscular injections and monitored responses. Managed care from admission to discharge for 6 patients on med/surg floor.

• Administered medications via oral, IV and intramuscular injections and monitored responses. Managed care from admission to discharge for 5-6 patients per shift on the med/surg floor.

Patient care in Oncology/med-surg unit, adeptly handling all aspects of treatment from medication to wound care to monitoring for 5-6 patients per shift.

Advanced to Circulator position in 2014.  Proficient in Set-up/Take-down/Cleaning of scope equipment in Endoscopy Suite.  We used Olympus 160 degree scopes then upgraded to Fuse 330 degree scopes.  Position patient prior to procedure.  Administer medications.  Circulate during EGD's and Colonoscopy's.  Circulate in OR Suite during outpatient surgeries.  Assist with intubation, prepping, and set-up of equipment.  Scrub for laparoscopic procedures to assist with camera.
