Supervised a team of 8 employees while managing all daily operations, hiring, payroll. Medicaid billing/appeals and finances, Filled the role of Executive Director along with many other other roles, to include Office Manager, Employment Specialist, Group Facilitator, and Advocate. Was solely responsible for all communication coming in to and out of the agency; to include Non profit funders, contract holders, media, Board of Directors, and families and individuals in need of services. Summit Pointe September 2000 to October 2012 Community Support Specialist/Social Work Tech Advocated and assisted individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities with outside agencies; Social Security Administration, Department of Human Services, Physicians, Adult Foster Care Homes, as well as Medicaid spend downs,and medication monitoring.
