Work History

Receptionist/CS/Assistant/TO/Ops Mgr

Continental Land Title
Riverside, CA
02.1989 - 09.2008
  • Handled incoming calls, relayed messages, and directed inquiries to relevant departments.
  • Welcomed visitors and delivered prompt assistance as needed.
  • Continental Land Title changed to Continental Lawyers Title, who then changed to Lawyers Title, who then changed to Land America Lawyers Title.
  • During my time there, 1989–2008, I started as the receptionist and open order clerk. On the weekends, I pulled chain for searching and examining.
  • In 1991, I transferred to the accounting department, where I did manual payoffs, accounts receivable, manual drafts, and check deposits.
  • I cannot remember the exact dates, but sometime.
  • In 1993, I moved onto a title unit, where I learned to be a title assistant. I sat at the desk for several years until the market took a bit of a downturn. I was transferred to customer service and spent a year or so there until such time Guy Kruger put me back on a title unit.
  • While working as an assistant, I was also learning to search and did some examining.
  • Again, I cannot recall the exact dates, but around 2002, I was promoted to title officer, and I have been working as a title officer since that time.
  • In 2009, I was laid off due to the market crash. I took a year off, and in 2010, I accepted a position with Title365 as their TO/Office Manager and opened their Riverside division of T365.
  • In 2013, I accepted a position with Stewart Title of CA, Inland Empire, as a TO, and I am still with STCA.
  • In 2017, my mentor, Kaz Bernath, was promoted to the underwriting team, and since his job as Title Operations Manager was opening up, he recommended me to the DP, Guy Kruger. I was offered the job and accepted the position, and I currently work as a title officer, operations manager, and ATO.
  • In 2025, Kim Strong, the current Inland Empire DP, also gave me the position of ATO for the San Diego, Orange County, and Inland Empire Divisions.
