• Triaging all incoming calls. Medication refills, ordering imaging, calling patients with lab and imaging results. Wound care, giving vaccinations, and rooming patients. Teaching patients proper inhaler use and demonstration. Using Epic Computer System for documentation and ordering.

• Administering medications, IV therapy, TPN and also blood administration. Performing nursing assessments and wound care. Participating in team conferences. Teaching patient and family members how to perform bowel programs and self cathing. Computer charting on Epic. Complete admissions and discharges.

• Administering medications, TPN, IV therapy and administration of blood and blood products. Performing nursing assessments and wound care. Processing physician orders. Telemetry monitoring and tracheotomy suctioning. Work in CCU and assist with drip therapy. Complete admissions and discharges to the facility.

• Administer medications, IV therapy and tube feeding. Take vital signs, complete nursing assessments and wound treatments. Process and enter physician orders. Computerized charting-point click care. Ability to float to all units and assist where I was needed. Complete admissions and discharges. Attend patient care conferences with Social workers and assist with discharge planning.

• Work as a team member providing care to 15 patients and also supervise staff on the PM shift. Consulting with MD's, processing orders, administering medications, IV/TPN therapy, vital signs, assessments and wound treatments. Computerized charting. Admitting new patients to the facility. Educating patients on their condition and encouraging daily rehab to regain muscle strength from surgery or illness. Assisting patients and families throughout the dying process with hospice patients. Assisting other nurses on the floor. Assisting with scheduling of staff. Ability to float to all areas of the building where needed. Able to assist in problem solving with patients and family members.
