Assist Medicare and Commercially insured patients in the Emergency Department with follow-up care by verifying and arranging appointments in the ED.
Communicate on behalf of patient with UF Health Providers if patient is already within the UF network.
Inform and help direct patients to additional UF services beyond those directly related to current visit needs.
Intercede on the patient's behalf as necessary to arrange for special services such as interpreters for both the hearing impaired as well as those with language barriers and other special services.
Assist with identification of patient's PCP.
