  • Responsibilities included guiding individuals and families through the process of advanced planning as well as after death processes and funeral arrangements. This also included grief counseling and researching and providing additional community resources for those in need of further extensive assistance.
  • Also managed staff of a team of 8 counselors while maintaining their duty schedules with 5 different funeral homes.
  • In the aftercare and advance planning processes, designed monuments, bronze markers, mausoleums, and property layouts for multiple and large family estates.
  • Planned and executed many community events, receptions, tributes, and celebrations of life with many venues and various religious faiths.

  • Designed and directed a series of Celebrity Golf Tournaments with major athletes. These included the Walter Peyton Celebrity Golf Classic and the Robert Horry Basketball Camps for youth. Charities that benefited from these events included the Jr. Golf Organization, Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, Boys and Girls Club, and The Shriner's. Planned and conducted all media releases, press conferences, awards banquets, and secured all entertainment and prizes to be awarded. Duties included designing all levels of sponsorship and securing the sponsors to ensure success of the event.

Recruited the Executive Committee and over 200 volunteers to execute these events.

Designed and implemented various promotions for company of 5 grocery stores in the area. These included food giveaways, major home furnishings, church vans, choir robes for over 200, and vacations for those who often shopped the stores.

  • Remained highly composed and calm in very fast-paced, stressful and constantly changing environments to provide optimal leadership and achieve desired results.

  • Designed all sponsorship levels and presented major corporations and organizations with all options to participate in a week-long golf tournament, including a Pro-Am , Junior Golf Day, Media Tents, Press Conferences and Awards ceremonies.

Recruited the Executive Committee of Community Leaders and recruited and trained over 500 volunteers to ensure success. These included Marshals, Rules Committee, Caddies, Parking, Concessions, Venders, and cart refreshment drivers.

Secured all prizes, entertainment, and scheduling Shoot Outs and schedule of activities for the week. Assigned work to staff, set schedules and motivated strong performance in key areas.
