In the past I have volunteered at a non-profit organization called "Starting Point Outreach Center." This organization can work with their clients to resolve their crisis and improve their quality of life and help the people providing services connect with those who need them, and vice versa, they help with financial burdens. They offer financial skills classes and mentoring to help prevent further financial hardships. Starting Point also works very hard in getting together with the teens of the community, offering opportunities they might be unaware of. Starting Point also provides prayer, Bible Studies and mentoring to help you develop your relationship with God. I was also able to help with the Legal clinic; I worked with attorney Jeff and got insight in the field. I helped with setting up meetings, events, community activities and more. I helped translate, spread the word, and be a support of the events.
