  • Duties as a clinical manager with Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice included, direct oversight/management of nurses, physical, occupational, speech therapists and home health aides
  • Supporting the teams as they provided direct patient care in homes in the community
  • As health care has evolved, my team oversight was at more than 200 patients at the beginning of my tenure with Androscoggin
  • Health care changes, evolving competition to provide service with competing agencies, has decreased my current team’s management to approximately half of the previous year’s numbers
  • As clinical manager for Androscoggin, my role as clinical manager was to support the team with weekly interdisciplinary meetings, 1:1 meeting with clinical staff to discuss patient caseloads, and progression of patients while on service
  • Weekly review of timesheets for accuracy
  • Review of spreadsheets, data to support timeliness of care, appropriate documentation of referrals, start of care reviews, prevention of low utilization payment adjustments (LUPA), as well as appropriate discharge planning, ensuring safe community discharges of patients
  • Joint visits with yearly evaluation reviews

  • Ensuring accurate schedules for all nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapists, including adjusting schedules for clinicians to ensure no one clinician may be left overwhelmed with too many visits
  • Office filing of information received from the intake department, creating and filing patient charts in order at our medical records department
  • Faxing important documents requested by varying offices as requested

  • Trinity Jubilee working to help prepare meals, serve meals, wash dishes, sweeping and mopping floors for community members and their families living in the Lewiston Auburn area.
