  • Airmen's Medal awarded 2004, for meritorious service going above and beyond while not in the line of duty, for heroic valor for the rescue of two men from drowning.
  • Created (MDRO) Multi-Drug Resistant Organism Registry with Walter Reed Army Medical Research Facility and was cited in a Medical Journal article for isolating the first NDM1 Organism isolated within the (AOR) Area of Operation while serving in Afghanistan.
  • Greatest accomplishment: raised two amazing young men who are just on the cusp of graduation from College and ready to make their marks on the world!
