• Under administrative direction, this position plans, reviews and coordinate activities of a team of professional investigators engaged in conducting child abuse/neglect investigations.
• Provides technical direction and guidance: explains, monitors, and enforces compliance whit the provisions of all applicable State or Federal laws.
• Establishes and maintains effective linkages with community organizations.

My duties and responsibilities consisted of investigations that addressed abuse and neglect. Due to my experience, I addressed Priority 1 cases that deals with death cases. I was responsible for child abuse hot line reports, assessed all aspects of children's safety in the home. Interview children of all ages, including alleged perpetrators and took protective custody of children and place them in foster homes. I would create court documents, and present evidence and testify the facts of the investigation. Partnered with other community agencies including law enforcement. child advocacy centers and medical personnel in order to complete an evidence based investigation,

Developed curriculum, and co-facilitated group sessions for at risk girls ages 12-18 years, address the consequences of exposures to domestic violence, physical, sexual and psychological abuse, and neglect. Conducted intense individual counseling with client's, in order to address a variety of personal conflict resolutions. Provided family counseling using strength based theory that addressed challenges to assist with family function, preservation and stability. Advocated to ensure that education al needs were met due to behavioral challenges.

Administered weekly home visits and linked families with community resources

Worked from home remotely. My job duties included reviewing, analyzed and investigated written inquiries from claimant, attorneys, physicians and policy holders. Strong knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding. Processed claims and able to follow the review process on all insurance explanation of benefits. Interviewed clients and service providers to determine, changes and/or payments not at its maximum. Handled complex appeals in accordance with federal/state laws and department polices, regarding quality productivity and timeliness.

Counseled adolescent girls ages 14 to 21 years of age in a residential substance abuse program. Provided individual and family counseling. Co-facilitated therapeutic group counseling. Facilitated therapeutic group activities. Managed crises situations that included running away and suicidal ideation. Created treatment plans, made referrals to community agencies. Managed a caseload of 10 to 20 girls at a time.

Interviewed, assessed and documented mental health behaviors, which dictated services for adolescents and adults. Facilitated psychotherapy and educational groups for patients and their families, whose lives were disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances and or substance abuse issues, in a inpatient hospital setting. Documented and conducted mental status exam after each therapeutic session.
