An Assoc HR Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting various Human Resources functions by managing employee data, coordinating processes, and ensuring compliance. Their role includes handling administrative tasks such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and managing HR systems. Provides expert inquiry and problem resolution support to Citigroup Human Resource Professionals, employees, managers, and others regarding systems, complex Human Resources, Leave Management, and Payroll issues. Responsible for the timely and efficient resolution of assistance requests through inbound and outbound call handling, emails, faxes, and postal correspondence, as well as performing basic clerical functions. Handles escalated calls and questions from personnel in other departments, makes recommendations, and develops processes for service and workflow improvements, quality assurance, and training. Manages special projects, assumes backup responsibilities in the absence of team members, and assists in the ongoing development of organizational personnel.
Duties include inputting payroll hours into the time and attendance system, updating and correcting location transfers, updating job status for new hires, salary increases and decreases, and adjusting tax withholding allowances for federal and state taxes. Additionally, balances vacation, holiday, and sick/unplanned leave for employees and HR. Responsibilities also include hiring and terminating employees in the PeopleSoft system and serving as a customer service representative, handling 40 to 50 incoming and outgoing calls daily in a call center environment. Assists employees and HR with inquiries regarding paychecks, earnings, long-term disability (LTD), short-term disability, payroll deductions (taxes, garnishments), benefits, loans, and terminations.
I process over 150 client payroll accounts each week and provide customer service to employees. My responsibilities include setting up clients for payroll processing and training new clients and payroll processors on the Helm payroll system. Additionally, I handle accounts receivable, ensuring that all payments for client payrolls are received.
Guide new home buyers in selecting bathroom, kitchen, and door appliances, and input all new products into the system.
Process new insurance claims and maintain files of records. Operate over 50 incoming and outgoing lines.
