I have worked for West River Regional Medical Center in the capacity of a full time medical transcriptionist, going to a supplemental transcriptionist, and I am now the sole home-based transcriptionist for them. With the implementation of the EHR, there are minimal providers that are continuing to use transcription services; therefore, I currently provide transcription services for WRRMC on an average of 12 hours per week.
