Accomplishments

With 40+ years in martial arts, I have enjoyed competing, training, educating, judging, and learning from other martial arts the true meaning of Jiating, Kazoku, or Ohana.

My biggest accomplishment has been being able to teach special needs the skills needed to compete on the same playing field as everyone else in the field of karate, weapons, and sparing. From teaching a blind elderly woman to perform kata to a young boy, deaf at birth, learns to use a sword; both go to local competitions and take first place. That is more of a rush than any grand championship, and it is priceless for any instructor.

With over 15 grand championships under my belt, over 200 first place trophies and medals, and countless other awards, my 40+ years in Martial Arts has been exciting to say the least.
