I have worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years. This includes serving, cooking, management, and owning and operating my own restaurant. This field is very diverse and has equipped me with curtain enhanced skills. In the restaurant industry we work in teams and a lot of components must come together for a common goal. This has taught me the skills of communication, problem solving, and adaptability. Management in this industry provided me with the skills of critical thinking, organization, conflict resolution, and multitasking. I have enjoyed my time in this industry, meeting people learning about their cultures. It is time for new opportunities in my career. As an undergraduate at Colorado Technical University pursuing an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA and was recently nominated for the National Honors Society.
