I worked as an CUSTOMER SERVICE REP from 6/1997 TO 12/2000. I also trained new hires who came on the floor. There were over 500 customer services rep in the building. And we were always in Que over 100 a day or more. I always worked overtime, when they asked. Was in the process of applying Supervisor, when I got word that the company was moving to a bigger building in Down Town Dallas, Tx. On Mocking Bird Lane. Where I was already working was in Red Oak it was right of Beltline Rd. I was already driving 55 miles one way and 1 1/2 hrs to work. This would put me another 25 miles on the road, with an extra 1 hour trying to get to the new location. So I put my 2 week notice in, and they had offered me more money, but I had to turn it down. I enjoyed working as an customer service rep. always able to help customers, correcting bills, and had to explain how we got onto there regular telephone bill. During that time there were 5 numbers you would dial before you dial your long distance number and it would be cheaper. At no cost to the customer just was a cheaper rate to make a long distance call at that time.
