Handling unexpected adverse events due to decreased blood volume, or citrate reaction, or other medical emergencies, would document in our Appian site.
Also daily serum, electrolyte protein labs to look at and pass her fail, Weekly meetings with the physician of the Center to discuss any adverse reactions and SPE results
Performing physicals to potential new donors to determine if they were eligible participants in the plasmapheresis program.
Oversaw the compilation of medical histories for prospective donors. Adhered to rigorous standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.
Oversaw donor monitoring for potential adverse reactions and executed treatment protocols within established practice parameters. Collaborated with the medical director during weekly performance review meetings to discuss strategies for improvement.
Performing new donor registrations, screening potential new donors for hematocrit and iron levels. Also all vitals, performing physicals and overcoming medical history with donor to establish eligibility through SOP, and good manufacturing practices.
Monitor donors on floor for adverse reactions, when reactions happen followed my scope of practice to ensure patient safety comment determine if donor recovered completely or if situation needed to be elevated.
Also monitored daily, SPE which is serum protein electrolytes to determine if donor could continue to donate what also meet with Center medical Director to discuss adverse reactions and species and do ongoing education
