Works in collaboration with Cardiologist to perform all procedures in the Cath Lab. Manages the day-to-day operations of the department including scheduling tasks and assigning duties. Assists with any problem solving needs for patient procedures or equipment. Acts as the liaison between Physicians, Nurses, patient units , cath lab staff and the hospital scheduling department. Manages the cath lab staff call schedules and time off request. Manages the daily charge input for procedures, reordering of supplies and inventory par levels for the lab. Cross-trained in all areas of the department. Assists with scrubbing in on all diagnostic and interventional diagnostic procedures (cardiac and peripheral), hemodynamic monitoring (Xper), X-ray(Philips) duties for cardiovascular and peripheral procedures, patient data input in EPIC(Cupid), CSI, Rotoblade, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, TAVR/TMVR (limited) and PPM (limited).
