Design and Build of M.F. Husain Art & Cinema Museum - Project cost : QAR. 90 Million.

• As a head of theQ.S Department, overall coordinate with other departments and clients
• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs
• Pre-qualification, tendering, finalization, administration, and management of Subcontracts
• Submission of Final Account & Application for Payment and getting Payment Certificates
• Correspondence and meetings with Subcontractors and actions/close-out
• Dealing with contractual issues as and when deemed necessary
• Preparation and submission of Notices of Claim as per Conditions of Contract
• Coordination with Clients and Consultants for payment matters
• Valuing completed work and certification of payments
• Handling of Subcontractors' Variation, including scope disputes and close out with the Project Manager
• Prepare and review Project performance reports
• Training, development, and motivation of the personnel for continuous improvement
• Working closely with the estimating function to enable correct input for generating competitive tenders

• Design and Build Site Wide Infrastructure Works and Access Road - Project cost : QAR. 63 Million.
• Various Works in EC TRAM Project - Project cost : QAR. 60 Million.
• Design, Construction & Installation of Utility Extension, Storm Water Drainage System, Construction of Roads. - Project cost : QAR. 108 Million.

Major Projects handled

• Roads & Infrastructure in Doha Industrial Area (Package 2), Qatar - Project cost : QAR. 1.24 Billion
• Synopsis : The project comprised 40km, including single & double lane duel carriageway, 491,000 cum of earthwork & 400,000 tons of Asphalt works. Design and build Surface and foul sewer network with 7.4 Km of Micro-tunneling and 1.1km of open trench pipes with manholes and gullies. The project includes traffic signals, utility networks, the Design & building of substations, street lighting, and Telecommunication networks. Hard and soft landscaping is also part of the project.

EPC Contract for PetroRabigh refinery for Aramco - Project cost: US$ 1.1 Billion

Key Responsibilities:

• The work includes preparing Contractual Letters to the Employer and the Contractors
• Finalizing Pre-Tender and post-tenders for Contractors, including handling their invoices & VOs and obtaining approval from the Client.

Major Projects handled

• Diesel Hydrotreater Project at Yanbu refinery for Aramco, Saudi Arabia - Project cost: US$ 50 Million

Key Responsibilities:

• The whole responsibility of QS activities from start to end of the project, including the final account.

Testing & Maintenance works (ECC Department) at Yanbu refinery for Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

• The work includes preparing the BoQ with estimated costs for the civil and mechanical works proposed by the Testing & Inspection department
• The scope of work includes finalizing the subcontract work with a nominated subcontractor, Inspecting and approving the subcontractor work, and finalizing the project account.

Shut down projects at Jamnagar refinery for Reliance Petroleum,

• Whole activities of QS work for Civil and Mechanical work for the shutdown project.

I started my career and grew up in Quantity Survey with the help of my colleagues and the practical experiences from the site. In my career in the company, I have passed through most of the Quantity Survey works like the basic quantity calculation, Interim payment submission, claiming variations, Reconciliation material, subcontractor payment evaluations, claiming EOT, preparation of contractual letters, etc.
