Accomplishments

  • Southend Tool & Equipment Rental: I began my rental career my freshman year (1987) of high school I began sweeping floors, maintaining equipment, delivery/pickups of equipment and attending numerous technical schools as well. Before becoming a manager, I spent several years as Outside Sales Representative maintaining set accounts while cold calling as well. After becoming General Manager, I successfully kept the company in the black during the 14 years as General Manager, until the unfortunate events preceding the economic downturn. I was able to maintain company in the black during the closure of the company and able to close out business without any debt and liquidate equipment & building as all assets.
  • Blueline Rental – (Formerly Volvo Rents): Opened new store & was profitable in a six-month period after opening. Established highly reputable Oil & Gas companies in a short period of time and was able to maintain these companies with 24/7 service with a very small staff provided and reached as high as 30 million in fleet with an average 70-80% equipment utilization for 14 months straight. In 2014, store 819 Zanesville was ranked 4th out of 133 stores overall in profit. During this four-year period, we also maintained a TRIR score of ZERO. I also have managed two responsibilities by serving as Branch/Sales Manager and Service Manager for the past four years.
  • Badger Daylighting: Month over month increase in revenue with a significant increase in profitability. Leveraged and created truck rentals vs per-hour fees to larger companies. Increased Hydrovac truck & employee count by market share gain.
  • Kimball Midwest: Successfully passed – “The four building blocks” training in a short period of time. Established 126 customers- including three “cornerstone” customers.
  • ChemStation: Recognized as 4th in the nation in sales for tank placement in 2020 at ChemStation Corp.
