Affiliations

  • I love to travel this has been a new addition to our lives. I also love walking and hiking. I am also a Grandma and babysit our grandson once a week. We have a new grandson due next Spring.

  • I've been working in Customer Service since 1981. I started my career at Sears Credit Department and was a bill collector which was a challenging job. I transferred to Nordstrom Credit Union in 1987 and worked in the downtown Seattle Credit office until 1989. I then worked for an Insurance Broker in Edmonds until I gave birth to our oldest son. I then raised children from 1991 to 2012. In that time I also was a chair for a non profit through the kids school St. Charles Borremo School, I chaired the SCRIP program for 8 years. This volunteer program was intensive we helped at least a dozen other schools in the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area with SCRIP to get it up and running in their school. SCRIP was a gift certificate that the parent would buy and the local businesses would donate off the top to the school. We would purchase the gift cards at a discounted rate and then sell to the parents. We brought the program from a $9,000.00 profit a year to up over $60,000.00. There was a lot of bookkeeping (Quick Books) and balancing of the books etc. that were part of my responsibilities.
