Senior Designer

Floor & Decor - Portland, OR February 2022 to November 2023

As a Senior Designer at Floor & Decor, I held a pivotal position within the organization. This position required exemplary leadership skills to enable the design team to provide clients with exceptional service, build brand loyalty, and deliver a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service. One of my responsibilities was to provide comprehensive training to new designers, ensuring that they acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to meet with clients, understand their project needs, and obtain a budget for their project while educating them on all the requisite requirements needed to complete their project.

As the Senior Designer, I also provided clients with professional interior design services, sales, and in-depth knowledge of tile, hard surface flooring, and custom countertops, including installation materials for both homeowners and professionals. Leveraging my expertise, clients could expect nothing short of excellence in service delivery, ensuring that their project was a success from inception to completion.

During my tenure at Floor & Decor, I achieved top sales for two years, was a top 10 out of 10 customer Medallia survey winner, and was recognized as a corporate top online reviewer within the northwest region. My exceptional performance has been instrumental in driving the success of the organization within the first two years of opening. Our Design Center placed third in sales of $32 million for the NW Western Division of seventeen stores, in just nine months following its grand opening in April 2022.
