  • We Are A Food Facility Providing Fresh Healthy Nutritious Hot To Go Meals To Our Community Beyond Borders Where Race, Ethnicity, Age, Income or Religion has no relevance. KBS is an initiative to bring nourishment where there is hunger by preparing fresh meals almost daily. We hand deliver meals to seniors, people with disabilities or health issues, women and children who cannot leave their homes. We also provide food to various centres like (shelter homes, rehabs, youth centres, teenage birthing mothers) Initially a startup for business purposes in 2020 but then it led me towards doing something for our people when the whole world was struggling due to Covid19. Conception of this idea was a short-term response to the pandemic, that's when I realized that we can play a major role in solving hunger by transforming “food insecurity” into “meal security.” Formerly known as Touch of Delhi, over a period of almost 3 years, KBS has increased community food supply chain in Maryland, Washington DC, VA with the help of its partners providing more than 250 free meals on a weekly basis to anyone who needs them.
  • Currently working on starting a food security workgroup, to recruit volunteers to serve on the workgroup and help facilitate partnerships with local farms and producers to donate fresh surplus produce, dairy, meat for our cause.
  • Develop and implement high nutritional standards for meal preparation, including a balanced ratio of produce, protein, and carbohydrates.
  • Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and maintain strict quality control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
