Clinical Experience

Clinical Role Transition - Advocate Condell Medical Center

Work alongside a clinical preceptor in Special Care Nursery, Mother-Baby and Labor & Delivery Units. 

  • Conduct physical assessments on both mother and baby
  • Obtain vital signs throughout the shift
  • Administer timely feedings to neonates
  • Perform routine NG tube care and feedings
  • Administer medications (IV, PO, SQ) after performing the 5-rights of medication administration
