They offered educational cohorts, board training, and facilitated community affinity groups. As program director, I developed, facilitated, and oversaw these educational programs and their associated curricula.
  • Managed programs across the organization, with specific oversight of curriculum development, program evaluation, and improvements to program operations and processes
  • Continually update the Agents of Change curriculum to be current with terms, practices, and resources that are aligned with utilizing an antiracist, anti-oppressive, pro-Black lens in the sector
  • Facilitated 8-week virtual educational cohorts for 60+ staff of nonprofit employees, leaders, staff, and board members on topics of implicit bias, intersectionality & antiracism, normalizing feedback, shared leadership, and creating internal culture change
  • Facilitated monthly virtual series of sessions (racial affinity spaces) for 20+ white people to take part in anti-oppression work in a way where they process feelings, identify and counter patterns of whiteness and white supremacy culture, and come away with tangible action items and long-term community building rooted in accountability and collective justice

I developed programming, managed communications, and community outreach, and also delegated to a team of 4 staff and a rotating weekly schedule of day camps for people ages 5-21 with various intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities.
  • Managed $130,000+ in grant awards, oversaw allotted department spending within the overall $1.4 million program budget, and tracked programming effectiveness and customer satisfaction
