Specialty pharmacy infusions of highly specific medications for rare diseases

• Educate patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension and interstitial lung disease on: disease process and how to self-manage oral, inhalation, subcutaneous, and intravenous medications
• Responsible to train new staff nurses on rare diseases, nursing policies and procedures, and medication preparation/administration
• Extensive PIV experience for patients with limited vascular access
• Educate patients on how to maintain proper central line care
• Access ports for adult and pediatric patients

• Central Line dressing changes
• Access ports for adult and pediatric patients
• Infusions of highly specific medications for rare diseases
• Educate patients on how to self-administer medications and how to maintain proper central line care
• Extensive PIV experience for patients with limited access

• Emergency room nurse, caring for patients with a variety of concerns, from minor lacerations to cardiac arrest
• ACLS and PALS proficient, caring for all age ranges from newborn to geriatric patients
• Extensive PIV experience, including ultrasound-guided

• Care for chronically, critically ill patients, many of whom are ventilator dependent and in the process of multi-system rehabilitation
• Proficiency with complicated wound dressings, including wound vacs
• Proficiency with a variety of IV access devices, including peripheral IVs, PICC lines, midlines, central lines, port-a-caths, and TESIO lines
• Proficiency with NG tubes, G tubes, GJ tubes, and J tubes
