As a college student, I had the privilege of participating in a community service project in the Dominican Republic. I volunteered at a local orphanage, where I assisted with daily activities such as meal preparation, homework assistance, and recreational activities for the children. Additionally, I helped with maintenance tasks and organized a donation drive to collect essential items for the orphanage. This experience not only allowed me to give back to the community but also provided me with a deeper understanding of cultural differences and the importance of service. I was able to develop valuable skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership, which will benefit me in my future endeavors
