Reserach Experience

  • Gleason Scores as a Predictor of Genetic Biomarker Expression in Prostate Cancer with Decipher Genetic GRID results : Western IRB–approved retrospective analysis of 150 biopsy-confirmed prostate cancer patients using the Decipher GRID genomic classifier to correlate Gleason scores with expression of 60 genes across 10 molecular pathways, identifying tumor proliferation biomarkers as the strongest independent predictor of aggressive disease (p < 0.001) presented at the Society of Robotic Surgery Annual Meeting (Strasbourg, France) and selected for presentation at the Southeast Section AUA Meeting (Rio Grande, Puerto Rico).
  • IPSC Research Assistant : Conducted sterile culture, expansion, passaging, and storage of human bone marrow–derived iPSCs while evaluating the effects of vitamin E on cellular viability and growth to explore potential therapeutic approaches for chromosome disorders.
