Shreya Singhi

I am a high school student at Cypress High School with a strong interest in engineering, robotics, and leadership. I have spent several years developing technical skills through Arduino circuits, a sustainable engineering course, and participation in the Starbase rocketry program where my team designs and launches rockets. In addition to my academic interests, I am actively involved in my school community and serve on the board of several clubs that focus on leadership, mental health awareness, cultural appreciation, and community impact. I have also volunteered at Camp Shark, where I supervised younger children and helped support daily camp activities. Through these experiences, I have developed strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

I started a small business selling handmade press-on nails to students at my school. I designed and created each set myself, focusing on different styles that people would like. I promoted the nails to classmates and managed orders, pricing, and deliveries on my own. Within just three weeks, I made over $150 in sales since starting this business near the end of February. This experience helped me develop creativity, time management, and basic business skills such as marketing, budgeting, and customer communication.
