Project - Finastra Patch release

Team - 20

Description:

• Global PAYplus–Services Platform (GPP-SP) solution is a payments processing platform that is used by many of the world's largest global and domestic banks. It is introduced by the financial services company Finastra. Working on project - Finastra Patch Release - An internal product maintenance project. Working on regression testing as a part of patch activity. Running a set of test cases using Jenkins automation jobs and pipelines for different versions of the product (Global pay plus service platform - GPP SP) and certifying the patch.

Responsibilities:

• Certifying the patch by ensuring the quality is not compromised and the sign off is sent to the client as per their expectations
• Running regression packs for multiple clearing systems(Target2, Euro1,Swift etc)
• Engaged in manual testing and run SoapUI for test cases by understanding the functionalities
• Run FFF automation and understanding the FFF framework and automation part
• Understanding the payment flows and types( High Value payments, Immediate payments , Mass payments)
• Engaged in UI sanity , HV sanity , IP Sanity and MP sanity testing (GPP SP Version 19 – Version 24)
• Identifying the errors and raising defects to increase the passing percentage of the automation pack received by running the Jenkins automation jobs
• Providing training sessions to the new joiners
• Providing the daily status update to the higher management

Project - Global Payplus Service Platform (GPP SP)

Description:

GPP SP is a Book to Book, Merchant Payment, Customer to Customer, Domestic & International Payment processing application and provides direct payment initiation, also, payment routing & transit based on local and global rules & configuration with international clearing system and domestic RTGS containing High Value payment, Immediate (Faster) payment, in single consolidated payment hub (Payment Processing Engine)

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the project training to new joiners
• Execution of new functionality, regression testing, raising defects
• Reviewed CRD and to-do traceability of all functionality to be covered
• Triaged bank defects and provided analysis for the test by looking into Traces and supported Dev and BA for the same, Retested the defects and provide solution to bank with setup documents
• Provided support to SME/BA/Dev for testing related activities
• Worked with project manager to priorities QA related task such as environmental related activities, assigning defects within team, release related activities
• Arranged knowledge sharing sessions within the team
• Interviewed candidates for testing positions
• Interacted with client for product training
• Provided single euro payments area training to the team.

Project - SEPA EQUENS UAT

Description:

The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a european commission (EC) and european payments Council (EPC) initiative that plans to remove the barriers to movement of cross-border electronic euro payments. As a result of this initiative, the high costs presently associated with cross-border transfers hope to be brought into alignment with the costs of performing internal domestic electronic transfers.

Citi Bank is handling its operations through two different applications in europeon Countries:

• First one is ZVS which is a payment processing engine application of EQUENS
• AND Another one is Citi bank’s own payment processing engine application ALTO.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and walkthrough of functional & design specifications of CRs, preparation of cases and walkthrough for test scenarios for clients and BA’s.
• Performed user acceptance, manual, functional testing, Ad-hoc, sanity and regression testing.
• Worked on SEPA payment basis on ISO20022 XML format incoming, book to book and outward payments.
• Tested and reported identified defects and retesting fixes
• Uploaded requirements and test cases to QC/ALM
• Interacted with business analysts to understand requirements, follow-up on different issues and observations found during testing
• Logging, tracking, updating and closing defects in QC/ALM/JIRA
• Coordinated with the partner support teams like citidirect, CFX, GIW, RBCS and flexcube during the testing phase
