Shunika Lee

As an experienced Pre-kindergarten teacher with over 17 years of experience in elementary/early childhood, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in young children. Although I hold a bachelors degree in Sociology, I have numerous course hours in elementary education nd early childhood. My professional background also includes over 150 hours in professional development trainings related to Early Childhood and Elementary education. My strengths include differentiating instruction and fostering student engagement that promotes academic growth. I strive to demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment while utilizing innovative teaching strategies. I develop strong parental partnerships that includes parents in their child's learning. I am committed to continuously seek new methods to inspire and engage young minds and contribute to the success/growth of children.

Served as the liaison between the Pre-K grade level team and school administration, facilitating communication, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Collaborated with leadership team  to execute the AVID program, ensuring commitment to AVID best practices and to build strong relationships with school staff, students, parents, and community to support the program's goals and initiatives.
