Completed the USDOT research project "Fluorescent Chemical Sensor Array for Detecting and Locating Pipeline Internal Corrosive Environment" by the following work session:
Applied Finite Element (FE) and Experimental Studies on sensor survivability and real-time in-line inspection feasibility study.
Conducted Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) and machine learning on sensor placement optimization problem.
Developed the Corrosion Rate (CR) models of various corrosive ions by applying electrochemical tests and machine learning approaches.
Synthesize the passive chemical sensor and its substrate for detecting corrosive agent of in-line condition.
