Collected data on the percentage of the population that smoked and life expectancy in six counties in California., Concluded that the percentage of adults who smoke is significantly negatively associated with life expectancy at one percent level, and one percent increase one percentage of adults who smoke is associated with 0.91988 percentage point decrease in life expectancy in years at birth., Applied R to realize the analysis and critical value approach, p-value approach, and confidence interval approach were involved.
