Led a cross-functional team of 3 System Design Engineers in the development and support of a fleet of 100+ Thermo Fisher Next Generation Sequencing units. Served as one of only 12 trainers for the initial Instron Bluehill software release. Supervised and trained 15 Field Service Engineers on the installation, operation, and maintenance of Asyst's Load Port Transport SMIF systems and Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS), contributing to a successful design win. Directed an international team of engineers, integrating multi-company platforms to increase throughput by 111%. Led the installation and maintenance of Elscint nuclear medicine equipment, supervising 4 Field Service Engineers. As Lead Field Service Engineer in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area, managed and trained 12 Electronics Technicians in the operation and maintenance of nuclear reactor safety and monitoring systems aboard the USS Arkansas.
Contributed to the development and enhancement of Thermo Fisher's NGS Sequencer and Purification systems. Created and implemented troubleshooting documentation for field teams for NGS systems. Instrumental in the design and layout of Asyst Technologies' 200mm FasTrack system during R&D, and supported the schedule and installation of the world’s first Asyst 200mm FasTrack AMHS. Managed logistics, installation, and training for both Asyst Shinko and Asyst-Taiwan international AMHS systems. Led continuous system improvements, increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), while prioritizing work for repair teams to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Presented resolutions to executive management and both international and domestic clients, while regularly reporting progress to the Vice President of Sales. Trained Field Services, Engineering teams, and customers on new product deployments.
