Lockheed Martin Generation Beyond Challenge
My team and I won the Lockheed Martin Generation Beyond Challenge, which challenged us to design the living quarters of the spacecraft transporting astronauts to Mars and present it to a panel of space experts. We won a grand prize of $10000, a 3D printer for the school, and a private tour of the Kennedy Space Center with an Astronaut.

Computer-Aided Designing Against COVID
During the initial spread of COVID-19 in the spring of 2020, I designed and printed face shield headbands and mask holders using CAD software and distributed them to the JFK hospital in Edison, which was facing PPE shortages at the time.

Middlesex County Academy Math Competition
As part of the Math Team, one of the mathematics competitions I won was called the MCAMC, hosted at the Middlesex County STEM Academy., a state-level math competition.

First Lego League
I participated in First Lego League for two years in middle school, with the team winning the Robot Design Award in the first year and the Core Values Award in the second year. We also made it to the NJ States Championship in the second year and won the Strategy and Innovation Award.

VITA Tax Preparer

During my Sophomore year, I became part of VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), an IRS- based organization, which helps people of the underrepresented community pay their taxes. I completed the IRS certification and filed several tax returns for the 2020-21 tax season.

Quiz Bowl Staffer and Writer

As part of Quiz Bowl, a trivia competition, I was one of the staffers of the tournament titled Eagle’s Nest that we hosted at my high school. It was the first time we hosted one and the tournament was extremely successful. Additionally, I have helped write questions for other tournaments held at my school.
