I’ve had the opportunity to build a rewarding work history that blends leadership and customer service in roles I’ve truly enjoyed! Most recently, I worked as a server/hostess at Riddle Village Retirement Home (April to August 2022), where I loved making every dining experience special for elderly residents. I enjoyed tailoring meals to their preferences, handling dietary needs, and building meaningful connections with both the residents and their families. Before that, I was a crew member at McDonald’s (June 2021 to May 2022), where I greeted customers with a smile, took orders accurately, and helped keep the environment clean and welcoming.
In addition to customer service, I’ve gained leadership experience as a counselor in training at Marple Sports Arena (Summer 2019) and a leader in training at Ridley YMCA (Summer 2018). In those roles, I helped senior counselors organize fun activities and made sure campers had a safe and enjoyable time.
Now, I’m continuing my education at Morgan State University, where I’m also involved in Sisters in Medicine and the Social Work Club, organizations that allow me to further my passion for helping others and developing leadership skills. I’m also improving my language abilities in Spanish (intermediate) and American Sign Language (beginner).
