- Choice is where I started working in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
- I started in November of 2022 as a Production Associate and worked my way to a Quality Assurance Inspector position around May of 2023
- I have learned multiple skill sets during my time here such as working alongside weight pack and various labeler machines, keeping up with production from on a conveyor belt in a fast-paced environment, packaging product in an articulate way, all while making sure each source & transfer batch numbers matched before sealing and shipping out packages
- When I got promoted to becoming a Quality Assurance Inspector, I learned more of the technical sides of the industry such as using Metrc to retrieve testing information, verify source and transfer tags, and ensuring surfaces in working areas are properly sanitized each day in a timely fashion per GMP and CRA regulations.

- Working for Peak Performance allowed me to work individually while working alongside the fast-paced environment of fellow Amazon associates
- I would load up my assigned work van with anywhere from 150 to 200 packages, make sure each bag containing smaller packages were scanned along with any oversized packages, and then head out to my assigned route destination
- To retrieve my assigned route and package count, I used two applications on my phone - Amazon Flex and e-Mentor
- Amazon Flex allowed me to view my route for the day, scan package(s) before leaving at the recipient’s doorstep and take a complimentary photo of the guest’s package(s) once delivered for maximizing customer satisfaction
- This was one of my personal favorite positions to work and company to work with, but I was only seasonal for the holiday season and my hours and routes were cut along with other colleagues shortly after.

- While working at Menards, I learned how to use and navigate through the store's inventory and merchandise systems, pulled items aside that guests purchase online to be picked up at their earliest convenience in the back area of the store using BOPIS systems, and assisted with loading up guests with their materials for their next home project
- Between greeting guests on the store floor, I paid close attention to sku numbers and inventory counts, kept items tidy while awaiting pickup by clients and contractors and learned to operate forklifts and pallet jacks efficiently
- Ensuring to properly stack merchandise on pallet(s) to make loading up guests as easy and time efficient as possible was something I took pride in so guests could easily identify that their BOPIS order is fulfilled, and efficiently loading up the merchandise for the guest
- Before becoming an Order Pick-Up & Delivery Associate, I worked as a cashier and used the store's Point of Sale system, consistently cash handling, stayed up to date with the current sales and advertisements, and delivered exceptional customer care to guests during and before checkout.
