• Kansas City Counseling (08/2023-04/2024) Proficient in delivering individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults, employing a strengths-based approach to promote growth and resilience. Skilled in utilizing a diverse range of modalities such as Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each client. Experienced in collaboratively creating treatment plans with clear objectives that align with and empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals effectively.
• The University of Kansas Health System - Marillac Campus (08/2022-04/2023) Conducted thorough biopsychosocial clinical assessments for adolescent clients, enabling comprehensive understanding of their unique needs and circumstances. Successfully obtained UR (Utilization Review) authorizations for patients from various payors, ensuring access to necessary treatment services. Shadowed group, family, and individual therapy sessions with the therapy team, gaining valuable insights into effective therapeutic techniques and approaches. Additionally, curated resource lists for patients' support systems to utilize during their inpatient stay, facilitating ongoing support and access to necessary resources beyond treatment sessions.
