Professional caregiver with extensive experience in childcare and development. Known for creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments. Consistently communicating well with families and adapts to dynamic needs, ensuring well-being and growth of children. Very active and great at planning while maintaining routines.
Baby was 10 months old at start. He was on a daycare waitlist and was accepted to start in August, so I knew it would be a temporary job.
Our days consisted of following his routine with nap times, meal times, etc. I kept a daily written log to keep track of nap lengths, appetite, and important notes. We did lots of fun crafts and motor skill activities, playing, reading, and walks to the park during wake hours. I also helped with light clean up during nap time.
The children were 4yrs and 18 months at the start. We went on lots of fun adventures and outings. We would often meet up with my mom and little sister (now 5) at the playground for socialization (with parent permission of course). We went to the library for weekly story time, played lots of games, did crafts. I was very active with these kids, staying busy and out of the house without electronics. I also helped with light cleaning.
The children were 3 and almost 2 at the start. Our days consisted of following nap and quiet time routines, sometimes going on drives if needed to help them sleep. We went on lots of fun outings, mostly at different playgrounds. We would sometimes meet at a playground with my mom and little sister. We went to the library and other outing as well. I helped with light cleaning cleaning at the house and kept daily logs on a shared notes app with pictures. This job was very temporary as the family was only in state for work for a couple months.
The twin boys were 7 at the start. I work all kinds of different hours and days, so everyday is different. Depending on my hours my days consist of morning routines + school drop off, school pickup + homework + evening/night routines, sports and extra curricular activities on given days, fun outings to the playground, trampoline park, ice cream shop, pool, etc. on no school days and over summer break. I help with cleaning at the house. Only leaving this job due to moving over an hour away.
Additional childcare experience: 3 months at a daycare primarily in the infant room before nannying and a few very temporary babysitting jobs between nanny jobs. I have worked with ages 2 months old to 11 years old.
