Additionally, at least 2 years of supervisory experience is required.

  • Serve as the primary advisor to the Student Organizations Oversight Committee, reviewing new student group proposals.
  • Advise student groups that coordinate the following events: Junior/ Senior Ball; Spring Gala; WBOR and Entertainment Board concerts (2); End of semester Dance Shows.
  • Supervise / Coordinate: Bowdoin Experience Weekend events; Art Museum Receptions; Off Campus Trips; First Six Weeks for School Event Planning; Relay for Life; Grassroots Soccer.
  • Serve as event coordinator for all Smith Union programming.
  • Supervision responsibilities: Front Desk Casual Staff members, Student Information Desk Monitors, Student Activities Event Managers.
  • 2018: Began coordinating the Bowdoin College Community Host Program. The Bowdoin Community Host Program matches members in the community with Bowdoin students from all over the country and the world with the intention of creating a home away from home for four years. Close work with Human Resources to implement new application and background check process for over 140 host families.
  • Served on Student Affairs Retirement Celebration Committee with College President and other College senior staff.
  • 2017: Close work with Information Technology on implementation of new campus engagement portal, Campus Labs Collegiatelink.
  • Summer 2017- presented at CampusLabs Connect conference with CampusLabs Director of Campus Success.
  • Provides training to students and staff on functionality and best practices of CampusGroups, the student engagement software.
  • 2020: Implementation of new campus engagement software, CampusGroups. Build brand awareness, trainings and various processes for different populations: students, staff, faculty and Student Affairs group. Close work with IT on integration of CampusGroups as main point for campus calendar, Localist.
  • Sophomore Experience Programming. Organize events rescheduled due to COVID-19 pandemic, including Orientation traditional events like matriculation and convening events. Close coordination with President's Office.
  • Facilitator in the Program for Nonviolence and Conflict Resolution(PNVCR) which promotes a safe College community in which students, faculty, and staff can navigate conflict peacefully and in a way that promotes self-reflection and accountability.
