• As sole laboratory technician supported 7 flight surgeons and 2 nurses; provided phlebotomy services for DoD senior officials; collected and processed specimens; coordinated shipments with 4 local reference labs ensuring same day result delivery.
• Reviewed Periodic Health Assessments; ordered laboratory tests and notified members of pending requirements to ensure individual medical readiness.

LOCATION: Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV 10/2013 - 01/2016

• Cultivated, isolated, identified,and performed sensitivity testing on various cultures to include: UA, blood, stool, throat and misc cultures.
• Directed microbiology in service training; as preceptor taught over 20 students.
• Managed pipette/ thermometer/ timer program; calibrated/inventoried/monitored 162 items.
