Bagging horse/chicken feed and move the pallets to the finish products warehouse, using a fork lift.
I also learned how to run the mixer, where I’d find the raw materials in the warehouse and follow the batch sheet to make the horse/chicken food. While also running/pressing buttons on the board/machine to run the products that I need out the silos from outside onto the scale, once I get/have all materials/products either on the scale or in the pit. I’d then empty the scale/pit into the mixer, where I’d mix all the ingredients and add oil. Letting it mix for 3/5mins. Then I’d send it over for the bagger to bag.
Unload the store trucks at night and place the pallets out in the isles, and proceed to down stock the pallets, while seeing what’s all needed on the isles.
I would either load or unload trailers all night, making nice locked in walls, starting from the bottom and working my way all the way to the roof of the trailer, while trying to keep all heavy packages on the floor/lower levels
Find raw materials in warehouse, weigh them to the proper/called weight on the batch/mix sheet. And repeat this for all products/materials. I also would operate a fork lift and move the finished product/batch to the mixing area for the mixer to mix.
I also learned how to run the mixer, which you would check to make sure all the raw materials were weighed to the right/proper weigh. Then pour them all in the small, medium, or large mixing bowls. The size of the batch would let you know what size bowl to get/use. But you’d pour the raw materials in the bowl as followed, fillers, resins, pigments, and rest of fillers. Then you’d pull the bowls into the mixer and set the timer, once the bowls finished mixing you’d take a sample to the extruders and the mixer job was done.
I also learned how to run the extruders were, you’d take the powder paint samples and pour it down the shoot, and turn the powder paint into very hot liquids, that you’ll run over/through some cold rollers, which would cool it turning it into a long hard strip of paint, which would be ran through some kibbles/chippers that would chip the long hard strip of paint into chips. Which would then be took/sent to the mill. And the extruders job would be done.
I also learned how to run the mill, were you’d take the hard chips of paint and run them through your machine, which would turn it into fine powder paint that the company would sale to company’s like Valspar, Boher, and PPG and they would add the liquid dye to it and sale it in stores.
