Co-founded an enterprise software company targeting pre-sales team, with the goal of building a SaaS platform to streamline their processes, especially around Discovery and Alignment with their customers.

Developed myself a full web service running on AWS Fargate/RDS:

• Backend: NestJS + Postgres
• Frontend: React + RTK + S3 hosting
• CI/CD: Github actions + custom scripts
• Integrations: Salesforce & Jira

Wanting to be closer to the technology at Kanopy, I focused on specific projects:

• Multi-CDN strategy: research and implementation
• Collaboration to migrate legacy back-end to a API-centric architecture (Typescript)
• Migrating all Kanopy services to Terraform (IaC)
• Third party provider contract negotiations
• Researching and overseeing the migration to a new streaming backend (storage + CDN)

Continued to build the video streaming service Kanopy.com while targeting the US tertiary educational system, as well as public libraries.

We hired a CPO and together we:

• Built a small tech team (backend, frontend, apps)
• Built a series of native apps: iOS, Android, RokuTV, Samsung & tvOS
• Built internal tools for automation, analytics etc...

I was hired as employee #1 in Kanopy's DVD business, with the mission to create a streaming service for EMEA's tertiary education market. The founder and I successfully worked at it for 5 years before moving the business to San Francisco to expand into the US market.

I was a single developer for 6 years, taking care of every technological aspect of the platform, from conception to development & scaling.

Started my career as a software developer consultant working in various sectors: banking, retail, telecommunications and government.
