Candidate for Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates

The Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) certification program is a four-step
process accepted by state veterinary regulatory boards and the federal government for licensure and certain
employment in veterinary medicine. The steps include:
1. Enrollment and verification of veterinary college credentials.
2. Assessment of English language proficiency.
3. Evaluation of basic and clinical veterinary science knowledge.
4. Assessment of hands-on clinical veterinary skills.
The program also includes updated requirements for candidates who enroll on or after July 1, 2014, particularly
regarding surgery.

Accomplishments

  • Collaborated with hospital leadership to identify barriers to Accreditation program for eligible non citizens residents, focusing on mutual benefits . Assisted in developing streamlined roles to help these individuals become exam ready and meet accreditation requirements
  • Collaborated with team of legal experts on Human Rights as expert witness on documenting and submitting research paper to the united Nations
